At HSS, we believe great projects begin with great people. Our greatest strength isn't just the buildings we create - it's the people who make them possible.
Our team is proudly multinational, bringing together professionals from around the world. Each person contributes unique construction experience, technical expertise, and perspectives shaped by working in different countries and cultures. Those diverse backgrounds influence how we solve problems, collaborate, and innovate every day.
Today, our team includes people from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Germany, Wales, Ukraine, Poland, Czechia, and Switzerland. Each brings valuable knowledge, fresh ideas, and a different way of thinking.
Every project benefits from a team that sees challenges through different lenses. Whether it's applying international best practices, sharing lessons learned from across the globe, or finding creative solutions together, diversity makes us stronger.
It's one of the reasons we build better homes, stronger relationships, and a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and grow.

This year, we were honoured to receive Silver recognition from the Bow Valley Immigration Partnership (BVIP), an organization dedicated to building a more welcoming and inclusive Bow Valley. BVIP brings together municipalities, businesses, community organizations, and residents to create a community where everyone can feel at home, regardless of where they've come from or their immigration status.
For us, this recognition is about much more than an award. It reflects a commitment to creating a workplace where people from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to succeed.
The values that BVIP promotes - belonging, inclusion, and community - align closely with who we are at HSS. We know that creating an inclusive workplace is an ongoing journey, and we're committed to continuing to learn, grow, and support one another along the way.
We're grateful to BVIP for recognizing organizations that are helping shape a more welcoming Bow Valley and providing guidance on best practices. As our team continues to grow, we'll continue to celebrate the diverse experiences and perspectives that make HSS a better company and our community a stronger place to live and work.
Because when people feel they belong, everyone builds something better.
